NSF and Bad Account Standings With The EMRA
The EMRA has been working very hard to offer our racers and sponsors several different payment methods. When the EMRA started in 2000 we were cash only, because of the risk of NSF checks, etc.. Since 2000 the EMRA has set up online payments through paypal payments@emra.ca to make payments faster and easier. We have also been accepting checks from our regular membership. As with any businesses accepting checks there is always the risk of checks going NSF.
The EMRA usually contacts the individuals or businesses who are in bad standing with the EMRA as soon as we find out that a check has gone NSF to replace the NSF payment. We do not charge NSF fees unless we are charged them by the bank, but expect that the account be cleared up within 45 days of notice.
Our members have had a very good track record. We understand that there may be problems on occasions, a check may have been written out of a wrong account, or what ever. We never point fingers, we just like closure on accounts overdrawn. The names of the people or businesses below are those who's accounts are past due by more than 45 days.
If you are a business and know the people below, or you are a person that uses the products or services from a company listed below, we would ask that you re-think your patronage or services until these people are in good standing with the EMRA.
