Beacon Software Update

So I saw someone post on the Facebook page that there is a new update for our beacons. And also that he was having some issues after installing the update.

Do we need this update for tomorrow?

Has anyone else had any issues with this update?

I can't seem to comment on Ryan's post for some reason, but I had the same problem before last round. I updated the desktop program and then it wouldn't let me log in from it, but the website and phone app still worked and my times showed from last round and the test and tune.
Since then my laptop has crapped and freezes in anything but safe mode (likely unrelated) so I can't update my transponders if there is one since then though. So hopefully........

I did not update the software, and my beacon worked great today.
