Best Laptimer/datalogger?

Hey all,

What is everyone using for a Laptimer/datalogger? Does 1 really stand out above the rest?

Also, with the mylaps transponders, can they be used for laptimes during track days as well or just race weekends? I already see the app doesn't work with our system.

the mylaps will not work on track days. only on race days and race day practice. the equipment needs to be set up in the tower for it to pick up your times and the tower is only set up on race days

That's what I figured, wanted to confirm.

With that said, anyone have recommendations for a laptimer/datalogger? Will mainly just be looking for RPM/TPS and of course time and speed. I've looked at a ton of them, looking for experience.

I'm pretty happy with Starlane. I've had mine about 6 years. They're expensive but give good graphics, speed , rpm. I haven't tried it but you can integrate other sensor and sync it with video
