Castrol raceway track update

Hello everyone. I just received a phone call from Castrol raceway in regards to the track updates we can expect before our first race weekend in 2015.

Bus Stop: The bus stop will be poured in conjunction with the new paddock space on the South side of the current paddock. This looks to be happening in early June. We are hoping it will all be complete by our round 2 however there is no guarantee at this point.

Walls in 3: The Walls in corner 3 will be moved prior to our first round of racing. These walls are going to be moved back aprox 10ft and will be apart of our plan in conjunction with the bus stop to make corner 3 safer. Castrol has guaranteed this to us as motorcycle racers

We will need to run the 2014 "chicane" before corner 3 until our bus stop is in place.

Also to note: Permanent washrooms and the spectator stands will be up before the national round in July. Completion TBD

We are working hard with Castrol raceway to get the infrastructure in place. Castrol has heard us and they are taking all of the steps needed to make this a world class facility. What we can do to help this is promote the national CSBK round which will bring money in directly into Castrol Raceway. This will put bikes on the map for them and help us to create a safer, more enjoyable track to race at.
