As it has been just under four weeks from our last update, we thought it prudent to send everyone some information. We are still VERY optimistic about racing at Castrol Raceway this season. We are all working towards having a full season of racing. The situation with public health restrictions is constantly changing and we are working with Castrol Raceway and a number of other motorsports facilities and clubs to get the approval required to go racing. As of writing this we do not have that approval. As was agreed at the last Executive meeting, with the setup time constraints involved we will be rescheduling the race school originally planned for May 15 to a future Motorcycle Track Attack in June with other dates also in consideration. Participants in the Race school should have already received an email with more information regarding this rescheduling.

We have daily emails and calls with Castrol Raceway and AHS, the most recent calls included submitting a plan to AHS officials to show our ability to have a safe and socially distanced event. Other Motorsports facilities have been given approval to begin limited operations, however, we are waiting for final approval regarding our events. We have determined the best course of action is to allow AHS officials time to approve our operations plan. We know time is of the essence, and will update all our members as soon as a determination has been made.

We hope you are all staying healthy during this time and we look forward to seeing you at the track as soon as possible.
