Hi everyone, I'm making this post as a friendly reminder and guide for all the new riders, new to EMRA riders and old EMRA riders that may have forgotten a few things over the winter.

First things first for round 1. PRE-REGISTER! It is fast and easy online. Log in as usual to https://trackintel.com/ti/emra/index.html . If you do not have a log on email Ian Wall at [email protected] and request a log on, he will need the following information: Your full name, license type, and year and model of the bike you are going to race. If you do not pre-register you owe the guys at registration a coffee and $20 for a late registration fee.

Next thing will be to make sure you and your bike are ready to race and will pass tech inspection. Have a good look at your bike and your gear. There have been a few changes to the rules and tech this year, so give the 2015 rule book and 2015 tech sheet a quick read, changes from last year to the rule book are highlighted in yellow.

When you arrive at the track, pit and get yourself set up. Please be mindful of other riders and their pit areas and traffic through the pits, the area is limited so we all need to share. If you select a silly place to set up your pits or decide to take up an acre of land you will be asked to move. Once you are set up head to registration which will open at 8am, pay for any out standing fees, memberships, licensing etc. Registration closes at 9am. If you got a nice new paint scheme on your bike over winter you may need to replace your old RFID tags, you can do this at registration. If you have a nice new helmet that does not have a medical data carrier tag you will need to purchase one, you can do this at registration. Please sign all the waivers and collect your tech sheet. Head back to your pit and collect your bike and gear and head to technical inspection.

There will be a tech tent set up and tech will open at 8am (possibly sooner) and closed at 8:30am for riders meeting. If you will not be able to have your bike ready for tech by then please find and make arrangements with Dana Draper (Chief technical inspector). Please make sure you bring your bike (lowers removed) and all your gear you plan to race with to tech for inspection. Registration and tech will work as quickly as possible to get everybody out on the track. Race Day volunteers will work to make sure everybody gets their track time and their races in while keeping as close to the schedule as possible. Tech is not there to bust chops and keep you off the track. It is a second set of eyes to help you ensure that your gear and bike have done the minimum that the EMRA racing community, believes will help make racing a safer experience for everybody.

If you plan on riding make sure you attend the riders meeting. It is 100% mandatory and will take place at 8:30am Saturday and Sunday. During this time a corner worker/ volunteer meeting will also take place. As a racer please remember that the race day volunteers are there to help you have fun and without them the racing just wouldn't happen. Be friendly and polite to them at all times, some of them will also be there getting their first experience with racing so please be patient and do what you can to ensure they have a good time, enjoy some good racing and want to come back.

After the riders meeting and corner workers are in place the track will be open, please take your first few sessions out on the track cautiously. There have been a number of changes and improvements to the track in the off season. Last year proved to be a very safe year so lets make 2015 the same.

If at some point in time you need help with tires, bike set up, gear etc. Please check out our track side vendors, Empire Tyres and Freight Train Racing will be track side with tires, supplies and services ready to help you get out on the track and go faster.

Last but not least, BIG thanks you to Argyll Motorsports for stepping up and being the title sponsor for this first round!

Good luck to everybody, lets make 2015 another great season of racing!

If we have pre-registered, but selected to pay via cash or cheque at the track, no late fee would apply correct?
