After a LOOOOONG winter, the time has come for Round 1 of the EMRA at Castrol Raceway!

THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CHANGES! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TO BE FULLY PREPARED AND UP TO DATE!

AIR FENCE SET UP: Air fence set up will take place at Castrol Thursday May 30th at 6pm. Please check the air fence volunteer sign up program on the EMRA website forums, or contact Eric Russnak for more info.

TECH AND REGISTRATION:
The EMRA has MotorsportReg for registration, and MyLaps for timing & gridding, and RaceHero for live timing.

Tech will be open 6pm Friday until 8pm and Registration will be open from 4-8pm. Tech and Registration will also run Saturday and Sunday morning until 8am. Transponders and medical data carriers will be available at Freight Train Racing Vendor booth, Transponders rentals are $50 per weekend, MDCs are $5 each to purchase. Transponder purchases are not available.

A NEW MEDICAL DATA CARRIER IS REQUIRED YEARLY, THIS YEAR BLACK WILL BE REQUIRED.

Please also take note of a change in the registration policy. ONLINE Registration will only be open until Wednesday May 29th and will close at 10pm sharp, and at the track Saturday June 1st until 8AM for any late registrations and check in. There will be registration on Sunday morning, if you are planning to only race Sunday and will not be attending Saturday, email [email protected] to let us know so we can get you checked in in advance. Any late registration will be processed when volunteer time allows. Be prepared to WAIT and be gridded at the back of your races. Grids will be posted after practice Saturday.

We are doing everything we can to make registration and gridding as smooth as possible, and to make the registration process easy to follow, but please make sure to read through registration instructions FIRST, and email us with any issues ([email protected]) SECOND.
There will be NO debit card payment at the track. If you did not pay online please bring cash, cheque or credit card to the track for payment. The late fee for registration is still $50.

Both registration and tech are being opened as soon as possible Friday evening to reduce lineups and save time. If you want to register and get your bike tech'd in your pit Friday night, it is in your best interest to show up early. We are volunteering our time to get a head start on the weekend, so this is done on a best effort basis, if it passes the cut off time you will need to wait until time allows volunteers to register and tech your bike.

TECH RULE CHANGES TO NOTE:
-ABSOLUTELY NO K AND N OIL FILTERS
-Belly pans MUST be off the bikes and brought to tech for inspection.
