I have a salvage 2008 cbr1000rr. It has just had a the engine done under warranty for the infamous oil burning issues that effected some 08 1000rr's.
Has new pistons/rings/cylinders/valve seals etc. Warranty claim was close to 4g. Guy left the dealer and lowsided 50km from shop.
Has titanium full system, power commander pc5 with auto tune. Brembo rcs and braided lines. Needs nothing for track bike just had damage to fairings and lights
has salvage title and can be put back on street. I have all documents from dealer regarding rebuilt engine.
Based on the goodies and the documented fresh engine with all updated engine part numbers this thing is a deal at $5800.
No this is not a race bike of mine, it has not been on the track.
