Hotel recommendation

Hey there,

Anyone have good hotel recommendations for race weekends, either in Ft.sasks or Edmonton? And has anyone in the past looked into group rates?

You betcha, there are a number of chain hotels in town. Last year we had an EMRA rate ($5 off corporrate rate) at the Park Avenue Inn www.parkave-inn.com All ground level, with parking outside each room and located across the street from Timmies. We will be approaching them again this year to see if they would like to continue this arrangement. We are also in talks with one of the local storage places in Ft Sask to get a special rate for EMRA members, and this could directly effect any of the out of town riders, and especially some of the out of province ones. We will keep everyone posted as more details are worked out.

When we traveled last year we stayed at both the Park Ave and The Hilton/Hampton across the street.

I will say its worth the $10 more a night to stay at the Hampton. Complimentary breakfast and WAYYYYY nicer rooms.
